The digital temperature controllers used in Paragon kilns operate on 24 volts AC. A transformer in the kiln's switch box converts the voltage from the circuit to 24 volts AC. If the controller's display window is blank, check the kiln’s switch box fuse and the voltage at the transformer. In this video you will learn to test the transformer with a multimeter and replace the kiln’s switch box fuse. |
