My first kiln was the Paragon QuickFire, which I bought 20 years ago. I enjoyed it very much. I have the Caldera. Then when I got the project of making replicae church windows, I got two Fusion-14s. “I fire four times a day for a maximum of 600 paintings and decals. For fusing small pieces I use the Caldera but for large pieces I use the new Fusion-14s. “I have practically no contact with other artists. My work is mainly for the church and I don’t have the time for fairs. I live in Cairo in the Heliopolis region, which is a modern and elegant part of Cairo, close to the airport.” |
