The Paragon Dragon's design and controls are perfect for firing large flat pieces.

Earline Green says, "I expect and receive excellent results after each firing."

Earline Green, a noted ceramics teacher in Dallas, Texas, created a massive clay quilt display as a commission from the Office of Cultural Affairs in Dallas, Texas. She fired the quilts in her Paragon Dragon kiln.

“The series include five spirit quilts and 11 bulkhead blocks highlighting the namesakes and keepsakes of the schools served by the Paul Laurence Dunbar at Lancaster-Kiest Branch Library in South East Dallas,” said Earline.

“The quilts consist of 240, nine inch, hand pressed embossed tiles weight 3-5 pounds and 11, 18x18 inch sectional pieces weighing an average of 30 pounds.

“The Paragon Dragon's design and controls are perfect for firing large flat pieces. The digital programming controls provided a consistent firing environment that eliminated cracks and warpage.

“During tile production, my Dragon is fired two or three times per week for 4 to 6 weeks at a time. I expect and receive excellent results after each firing.”
