Freight Shipments
Freight shipments must clear customs before delivery.
Customs Broker You must provide us with the name and phone number of a customs broker. We will include this on the shipping documents. Paragon cannot recommend a customs broker to you. Please refer to your freight company for suggestions if you do not already have a customs broker.
If drop shipping, please make your customer aware that the delivery cannot be made until the shipment has cleared customs.
Duties and taxes will be assessed when the freight clears customs. Paragon cannot estimate these charges and is not responsible for paying them. Please be sure you have made your customer aware of these additional fees.
Invoice Customs requires that an invoice with pricing is included in the shipment. We normally include an invoice from Paragon that reflects the distributor pricing where applicable. For drop shipments, we can include an invoice provided by the distributor if requested and provided at least two days prior to shipping.
NAFTA Paperwork Paragon will complete the necessary NAFTA paperwork.
