PAF30-1 Annealing KilnExpand the production capacity of your glass studio with the massive 28.28-cubic-foot PAF30-1 glass annealing kiln. Make glass vases, bowls, and figurines without worrying about having enough annealing capacity. The PAF30-1 is designed for annealing, so the maximum temperature is 1100°F (593°C). With this kiln, you are buying only the heating capacity that you need for annealing. The PAF30-1 is stackable. As your business grows, add another PAF30-1 without using more floor space. The feet of the top kiln fit into the four stacking points of the bottom kiln. Level the kiln in minutes with levelers that are built into the feet. Spring-loaded quick-release door latches allow one-handed loading into the hot kiln. The doors open smoothly on heavy-duty 3/4” hinge shafts. The firing chamber opening is lined on all four sides with a fiber rope door seal. The doors also each have a seal where the doors meet in the center. Each door has a safety switch that turns off the elements when the door is opened. The controller remains powered and automatically resumes firing when you close the doors. The kiln heats from the sides and back. Dropped, recessed brick grooves protect the elements for long life. The kiln is heavily insulated for economical operation. The insulating firebricks and fiberboard, wrapped in heavy-gauge steel, soak up heat for slow, efficient cooling: Paragon’s PAF30-1 is made for years of rigorous firing with a heavy 2” tubular steel frame. A heat shield and 1 3/4” air gap between the kiln and ventilated switch box help keep electrical components cool for long, trouble-free service. Costly heavy-gauge nickel-plated copper wiring is covered with high temperature glass-braided insulation. Turn off power to the controller when the kiln is not in use using an on/off switch on the control panel. |
